The client was looking for support from a team of international experts.

The project was to improve various aspects of our OCPP 1.6J client in Typescript/Node.js

feature completeness of OCPP 1.6J core + selected extensions

– further configuration options

– QA improvements

– verification of the software and integration testing/adoption with different backends.

 

Technical Expertise: 

– Node.js

– REST APIs

– experience in EV charging was plus

– Jira

– Gitlab

– Confluence

several engineers already worked on the codebase was support onboarding, concrete work breakdown was given as part of our development flow, and the tools used for project management was Jira/confluence and Gitlab

The project duration was estimated at several months.

Project context:

we provide the software needed to build DC chargers, and the OCPP client is one module of it. The SW is used by several clients already and integrated with various backends
